DNCC Chair, Rep. Israel Adds Occupy Wall Street to the List of Anti-Israel/Anti-Semitic Causes He Supports

Occupy LA Protester
The Chairman of The DCCC (Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee) Steve Israel, who is supposed to be representing NY's 2nd Congressional District, never met a Progressive anti-Semitic or anti-Israel group that he did not embrace.  The Long Island Congressman's latest "love affair" is with Occupy Wall Street whose members have displayed a hatred of both the Jews and the Jewish State.

The DCCC run by Israel features a petition supporting Occupy Wall Street which is looking for 100,000 signatures in support of Occupy Wall Street

Its hard to believe that Congressman Israel hasn't seen any of the news reports of hatred coming out of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

For example this New York Protester who claims that one small minority controls the banks, the judiciary, American Politics, and represent over 50% of all billionaires in the country. (if you cannot see video below please click here)

"The Jews who represent only 2% of the population...have pooled their money together an now control all the the finances of America"

When Michael Moore was covered by MSNBC as he spoke from an Occupy Wall Street protest, he was joined by anti-Israel protesters.
Michael Moore From Occupy Wall Street
This little clip came from the Los Angeles version of the protests Steve Israel is supporting. Meet Patricia McAllister who is not only an Occupy Wall Street protester, but she also works for the LA Schools:
“I think that the Zionist Jews, who are running these big banks and our Federal Reserve, which is not run by the federal government… they need to be run out of this country.”

As reported by Carl in Jerusalem in his blog Israel Matzav one of Occupy Wall Street's organizers, Kalle Lasn, has a history of anti-Jewish writing.
Back in 2004, he wrote a highly controversial Adbusters article entitled “Why Won’t Anyone Say They Are Jewish?” which peddled some of the more feverish theories about American Jews, neoconservatism, and the Bush administration
If Carl could find that out from thousands of miles away in Jerusalem, its hard to believe that Steve Israel couldn't find that out living 40 miles away from the NYC rally.
Poster From Occupy LA

In  Chicago, the Steve Israel supported Occupy Wall Street protest joined up with a Destroy Israel march.  As reported by Rebelpundit:
Hatem Abudayyeh, a local pro-Palestinian agitator, rose to stage to address the crowd regarding Israel and American imperialism. He referred to Benjamin Netanyahu as a “fool” for his recent address to the U.N. General Assembly, and cheered the effectiveness of the global boycott and divestment in Israel, which he said was successfully putting a “dent in Israel’s indemnity over Palestine and the Arab world.” During the speech, members of the radical left-wing Jewish Voice for Peace, an organization on which noted socialist Noam Chomsky happens to sit on the board, passed out flyers that read at the top, “Be a Passivist (sic), be a Nonviolent Activist, Refuse to Pay Taxes, Destroy Israel!”

This is not the first anti-Israel/anti-Semitic cause backed by Steve Israel, who represents a district with a large liberal Jewish population. When President Obama was trying to push the anti-Israel group J-Street down the throats of the pro-Israel community, the Long Island Congressman lent his name to the Organization. He didn't care that the group wanted President Obama to begin talks with the terrorist group Hamas and ease up the Iranian sanctions. Later on when J-Street tried to convince the US Congress to accept the Goldstone Report, a one sided UN Report with trumped up charges of Israeli War Crimes during the Gaza war, Congressman Israel was silent about the group for which he lent his support.
Sign From Occupy NY

As President Obama began to implement his anti-Israel foreign policy, Steve Israel who never before had been reluctant to speak out in support of Israel, was strangely silent. Even as Republicans began to stand up to support the Jewish State, Congressman Israel said nothing. His silence is the result of his inability to have a thought independent of the Administration. This past May when President Obama made his one sided anti-Israel Middle East there was plenty of criticism regarding Obama's call to begin negotiations with Israel ceding the disputed territories, but none of it was from DNCC Chair Steve Israel.

And lets not forget the fact Congressman Israel accepts campaign funds from a man convicted for smuggling weapons to Iran, a country threatening to destroy the Jewish State.

I do not believe that Congressman Israel believes in the Antisemitic/anti-Israel Stance of Occupy Wall Street, nor does he agree with the stances of J-Street or the Iranians his donor was convicted of arming.  In fact there is no evidence that he agrees with the President's anti-Israel policies which he remains silent about.  No, the DNCC Chairman is much worse than that. Steve Israel is a political hack, who abandons the Jewish State and the Jewish people, not because of an actual belief but because he wants to get ahead in the Democratic Party political organization.

Sadly here in New York's Second 2nd Congressional District, we do not have a Congressman who represents this slice of Long Island, instead Steve Israel believes his role is to represent the national Democratic Party as well as everything this President says and does.

Occupy Wall Street Cleanup Canceled Because of Threats From Politicians

Everyone has been wondering why the planned cleanup of the NYC Plaza hosting the Occupy Wall Street Protesters was cancelled,  the reason was pure politics. Early this morning when Deputy Mayor Cas Holloway announced that the owner of the private park, Brookfield Office Properties, had put off the cleaning people assumed that it was because the protesters were cleaning it up themselves, but later in the morning an angry Mayor Bloomberg said:
"My understanding is Brookfield got lots of calls from many elected officials, threatening them and saying if you don't stop this we'll make your life more difficult," the mayor said on his weekly radio show.

"If those elected officials had spent half as much time trying to promote the city to get jobs to come here we would a lot more ways towards answering the concerns of the protestors.
"I'm told they were inundated by lots of elected officials..."
The mayor said he didn't know which elected officials applied the pressure, which is political talk for I know who they are but I am not going to single them out.

One possible candidate for the pressure is Congressman Jerrold Nadler, who on Thursday took the time to leave the all-you-can-eat-buffet he spends time in to demand that Brookfield and the city try to work out a voluntary resolution of the month-long sleep-in.

The progressive Nadler is not a big believer in private property and supports Occupy Wall Street protests, as most Democrats have.
The Mayor said that if they had to go back and try to get the protesters out by force it would now be more difficult.
I've asked what would happen if they cannot (reach a deal). The answer I got was they would want to go ahead and do exactly what they were going to do this morning," he said.

"From our point of view, it will be a little bit harder, I think, at that point in time to provide police protection. But we have the greatest police department in the world and will do what is necessary."

Brookfield officials called the city at midnight to ask for the postponement, saying they wanted to see if they could work out an agreement with the protestors.

"I'm not sure what that means," said the mayor. "There has to be some resolution eventually."
There has been no further word from Nadler, possibly because he is preoccupied, I understand that Wen Chao's all you can eat buffet has a special on dumplings and egg rolls.

Occupy Wall Street vs The Tea Party For Idiots (Or the MSM, But I Repeat Myself)

Two weeks ago, I responded to the Mainstream Media's labeling of the Occupy Wall Street protests the Left-Wing version of the Tea Party. Apparently the reasons given to prove that comparison false were too vague for the media to understand because they continue to  make that comparison.  So to be helpful to the people in the "fourth estate," I have created sort of a "difference between the Occupy Wall Street Protests, and the Tea Party Movement' for idiots and the Mainstream Media ( I guess that is redundant). It follows below:
  • There was never a turd left on a Police Car during a Tea Party but there was during an Occupy Wall Street protest.

Occupy Wall Street Protesters also defaced this Police Car:

  • After Tea Party Rallies many people commented about how the protesters left the area cleaner than how they found it. This is what Occupy Wall Street looks like:

  • No one at a Tea Party Rally ever defaced the Stars and Stripes, the same can't be said of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

  • Tea Party Protesters never made Anti-Semitic statements that Jews Control the media and Wall Street, Occupy Wall Street Has.

Note to the Mainstream Media: Please do not confuse Occupy Wall Street with Media Matters For America who have made similar Anti-Semitic statements.
Occupy Wall Street Also has an Anti-Israel component, something that was never seen at the Tea Party protests.

  •  Sadly no one in the Tea Party movement has ever been paid to attend a rally. But Some of the Occupy people get paid.
Note: I have also never gotten money from the Koch Brothers per the claim by the Daily Kos types, maybe they don't have my correct email.
  •   The Tea Party Movement Doesn't have the Support of this guy, (but shhhhh we don't want it).
  • And finally, when the Tea Party started it had no support from any party, Democrat or Republican. In fact the GOP establishment is still not comfortable with the Tea Party.  Occupy Wall Street was immediately embraced by the Democratic Party Leadership, such as Nancy Pelosi

and even President Obama.

In the end the difference between Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party is very similar to the difference between the President and his progressive supporters and Conservative Americans.  Just like Occupy Wall Street, the progressives believe that American Institutions need to be defaced and torn down, maybe the progressives don't attack police cars, but they attack our freedoms.

Conservatives believe that tapping the drive of the American people is the best way to clean up our problems.  For example they believe that the best way to clean up the economy is to make it easier for Americans to run their own businesses. On they other hand, both the progressives and the Occupy Wall Street Protesters believe that it is Government's Job to clean up their mess.

Conservatives and the Tea Party both believe in American exceptionalism, we would never travel the world apologizing for America the way President Obama did, and we would never deface representations of that exceptionalism such as "Old Glory" the way the Occupy Wall Street movement did.

Antisemitism is big in the Occupy Wall Street Protests, just as it was during the progressive Anti-War Protests during the Bush Administration and  progressive Media Matters ever since. I have been to only a few Tea Party protests, have even worn a yarmulke and was never confronted with hatred against Jews or any other minority.  The Occupy Wall Street Movement also has anti-Israel elements, no surprise as the President who has embraced them is the most anti-Israel President we have ever had.

It is also interesting that leading Democrats have embraced the Occupy Wall Street protests.  The Tea Party Movement's loyalty is to the American constitution and fiscal responsibility. While some of the hundreds of Tea Party groups across the country have endorsed candidates the deciding factor was not whether they were the party of the elephant or the mule, it is the candidate's support of the movement's agenda; returning the government to the Constitution and the freedoms which it guarantees, and to restore our "federal bank account to solvency.  We do not hate individuals who are rich or poor, we simply hate government policy which erodes the greatness of this one-of-a kind republic.  Which is something the mainstream media is either too biased or too dense to understand.

HORSE CRAP! Liberal Media Claims "Occupy Wall Street" is a Left-Wing Tea Party

The liberal media has constantly found ways to put down the tea party movement.  First there were the sexual slurs we were 'tea baggers." Then we were racists, stupid and finally we were stubborn extremists whose only wish was to close down the government and/or remove Barack Obama from office.

The media's latest slander of the Tea Party puts all of the others to shame. They are calling the left-wing "Occupy Wall Street" protests in New York a liberal tea party.  Ladies and Gentlemen, I know the tea party, I have been to some of their rallies, some of the tea party leaders are friends of mine, it is with 100% certainty I can report that the only similarity between the tea party movement and the occupy wall street protests is they are both comprised of Homo Sapiens.

That doesn't stop the liberal media though. Take NBC news for example; On Saturday Night's Evening News correspondent Michelle Franzen quoted Columbia University's Dorian Warren who asserted the Wall Street protests were "a liberal version of the Tea Party." He added: "I think this could potentially carry over into the 2012 elections and get people to the polls."

On Sunday's Meet the Press, host David Gregory asked liberal Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne about the movement: "...your column out tomorrow talks about the equivalent Tea Party movement on the left.

Time Magazine said:
In its broadest outlines, this new outpouring of protest is driven by the same fuel that gave fire to the Tea Party: Anger at elites, a feeling of injustice, a concern about jobs, fear about the direction of the economy and a clear desire to take action. Whereas the Tea Party focused these furies on government, Occupy Wall Street focuses the fury on corporate America. It seems, quite simply, to be the left’s answer to the right’s size-of-government critique that has dominated national politics for the last two years.

Neither in methodology or goals is there any similarity between the tea party and this Occupy Wall Street group.

Tea Party rallies were calm protests whose attendees respected the local ordinances and cleaned up after they were done. For the most part the only people arrested at tea party rallies were the SEIU thugs sent by the administration to bust some heads. At the occupy Wall Street rally yesterday, 700 people were arrested for ignoring police instructions and blocking access to the Brooklyn Bridge.

The goals of the Tea Party were all about returning this country to what made it great,  following the road map of this country's success, the  Constitution, along with the the traditional American values of freedom, independence celebrating success, and personal responsibility.

The Occupy Wall Street Folks have a list of demands most of them are unconstitutional, they are the antithesis of the traditional American values. The Occupy Wall Street folks created goals that are all about tearing down institutions.  They are looking to create dependency on the government, take away freedom and blame all of their problems on others. Under the Occupy Wall Street demands, no one would ever have to work hard ever again. If they had their way everyone would just be able to take more from the government's endless supply of cash. All loans will be forgiven and everyone will have a salary whether they work or not.
  • Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending "Freetrade" by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.
  • Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.
  • Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.
  • Demand four: Free college education.
  • Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.
  • Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.
  • Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America's nuclear power plants.
  • Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.
  • Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.
  • Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.
  • Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the "Books." World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the "Books." And I don't mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.
  • Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.
  • Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.
Respecting  the local laws vs. 700 arrests on one day, using the guide book that made America great the Constitution vs. ignoring what worked so well, personal responsibility vs. eliminating responsibility, a sense of independence and pride in ones accomplishments vs. allowing others to do everything for you, celebrating success vs.penalizing it, those are the basic differences between the Tea Party and the Occupy Wall Street group.

Sorry media you are all wrong, there is absolutely no similarity between the Tea Party movement and the Occupy Wall Street protests.  To imply that they are even remotely the same is pure horse crap!
