Sheila Jackson Lee to Conservative Bloggers SHUT UP and Stop Being Racist

One of the initial things Loretta, my first boss in the real world, taught me was that it's OK to be stupid, and it's OK to be nasty, but stupid and nasty is a horrible combination.  No member of congress proves that more, than Houston Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. Last night Ms Jackson Lee appeared on the Tavis Smiley program and was asked to comment on what he saw as conservative blogger joy over what seemed to be a split between the President and the Congressional Black Caucus, her answer was they should shut up and stop practicing racial politics.

Those are strong words for a woman who is reported to be a mean-spirited boss, but even meaner to her African-American employees.

Given Jackson Lee’s apparent touchiness on racial questions, there’s a certain irony in the fact that aides claim she is far harsher to the African Americans who work for her. “’You stupid mother-effer’ was like a constant,” says one. “Like, all the time. But the interesting thing is she would really project that behavior more towards her African American staffers. She would have other ethnic groups in the office, like interns or whatnot. But it was really her African American staffers who she felt comfortable enough to really curse out…. This is something we always talked about. We chalked it up to her just feeling more comfortable acting out her aggression toward a certain group of people versus others.”

If Ms. Lee wants to be the "Racial Politics Police" why didn't she say anything in 2010 when her colleague, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, tried to brand War Hero and all around mench, Allen West as some sort of criminal biker.  Having had the privilege of meeting Congressman West twice, I am willing to swear on a stack of bibles that he indeed is African-American.

The truth is Ms Jackson Lee doesn't really know what she is talking about. No not like when she said North and South Vietnam are living peacefully side by side, even though there hasn't been a North and South Vietnam since Gerald Ford was President, not even like when she  told the House Judiciary Committee the “penalty” that the health-care law enacted last year by Congress imposes on individuals who do not buy health insurance is not in fact a penalty, even though the bill calls it a penalty, no those are just examples of why the Congresswoman will never be a brain surgeon.

In this case, Ms Lee is blindly following the progressive agenda. They have been working hard brand conservatives who criticize the President as racist.  The fact is the Congresswoman has no understanding of the hows, wheres and whys of conservative positions (that is above her thought grade).

Did myself and other conservative bloggers report the battles between the CBC an Obama? You bet! I for one also report the growing space between Obama and the Jewish vote.  Does that mean I am a racist AND an anti-Semite? Or does it mean I write a political blog and what seems to be a growing distance between President Obama and his most loyal supporters is big political news.


I would never expect Congresswoman Jackson Lee to read my blog, after all some of the words I use have more than three letters, but if I did not report and comment on major political news my readers would go elsewhere, and to be honest I need the ad revenue. The only other way to get money these days is to be a major contributor to the Obama Campaign.

Poor Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee Is Too Stupid to Know Which Minority Obama Is

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, "Well, there she goes again!" Sheila Jackson Lee, the woman who, every day tries to show that Barbara Boxer is only the second dumbest person in Congress,  made another really dumb comment.  This time she says that the GOP is only pushing this debt ceiling debate because Barak Obama is different.  She says that people in the minority community wonder what makes this President so different. Uh-oh, that's what I mean, the Congresswoman from Texas, knows that the GOP-caused debt limit debate has nothing to do with the fact that our country is over $14.5 trillion dollars in debt and the economy is in the toilet, no it is all caused by the fact that the President is a minority.

Poor Congresswoman Jackson Lee, she knows that Obama is different, part of a minority, but doesn't know what makes him different.  In fact, she believes that the entire minority community doesn't know why President Obama different.

Allow me to suggest that as good Americans, we should help the Congresswoman out. We should try and figure out what makes Obama different. We shouldn't be taxing her poor undersized brain like that.

Hey, maybe she thinks he is different because the two are in the same minority!

Lets see what minority could they could be in together:

Well...there was the time she stood on the floor of the house  discussing how North and South Vietnam are living peacefully side by side, even though there hasn't been both a North and South Vietnam since Gerald Ford was President.

Wait! Jackson Lee likes to blurt out the most stupid thing at the most inopportune time. Maybe that's the minority...No it can't be that. Gaffes are the SHMOTUS, Joe Biden's job in the administration, not the POTUS

Maybe the President is in the minority of people who are too stupid to understand recent world history? Nah, President Obama is a lot of things, stupid is  not one of them.

Then there was the time Jackson Lee told the House Judiciary Committee that the “penalty” in the health-care law enacted last year by Congress imposes on individuals who do not buy health insurance is not in fact a penalty.

The law itself states: “If an applicable individual fails to meet the requirement of subsection (a) [having a government-approved health-insurance policy]… there is hereby imposed a penalty with respect to the individual.”

Elsewhere, in a section entitled “Payment of Penalty,” it says that individuals failing to carry a government-approved health insurance policy must pay a maximum penalty of $750

But in Sheila Jackson-Lee's twisted logic, a penalty is not a penalty even when it's called a penalty.

“I would make the argument, one, that instead it is an incentive to do right--that it is not penalizing because penalty is punishment,” Jackson-Lee told the Judiciary Committee.

The President cannot be part of the minority of people who doesn't understand what a penalty is, after all ever since he was inaugurated he has been penalizing successful people.

So what is the mysterious minority?  Sheila Jackson Lee cannot be implying that the GOP is trying to get President  Obama to start cutting the overblown budget, just because he is half-white?  That does make him different.  It also makes him a minority.  But that can't be it also, we have had Presidents who were not only half-white, but entirely caucasian and he isn't being treated any different. To be honest, when you look at the Media, this President cannot do any wrong. Maybe the President is in a different minority than Jackson Lee.

Wait ! I figured it out, the minority that Jackson Lee  is talking about must be Presidents who ran up the deficit in 2 years more than any other chief executive in history ran up the deficit in their entire term? Or the only President in history, who by the end of his (first)  term will have run up a deficit equal to the US deficit created during the first 230 years of its history.

 That has to be it, because the only other choice would be that the Congresswoman believes the GOP is pushing the budget debate only because Barack Obama is African American (well half).  And that would be too stupid even for Sheila Jackson Lee, whose brain bill is years over-due.

Since we are not sure what Congresswoman Jackson Lee means, and we shouldn't really should tax her brain (it may explode) please help us help her out.  Please vote for the for the minority Sheila Jackson Lee is talking about.  In a week or so, we will send the results to the reason-challenged Congresswoman so her brain could return to its normal idle state.

LAWSUIT! Sheila Jackson Lee Tormented Disabled Ex-Aide

Its been well known the Sheila Jackson Lee's brain lights are set to dim.  Some would say that she rivals Barbara Boxer for the title of dumbest person in Congress. Jackson Lee who once wasted the time of Congress with a piece of legislation to honor the late Michael Jackson (A Tribute to an American Legend and Musical Icon) that made the accused child molester seem like Mother Teresa. Then there was the time she stood on the floor of the house  discussing how North and South Vietnam are living peacefully side by side, even though there hasn't been a North and South Vietnam since Gerald Ford was President.

Adding to her resume of incompetence, the IQ-challenged lawmaker is being sued by one of her former staffers for being particularly nasty about her disability.

This isn't the first time Jackson-Lee has been accused of being a tyrant. Back in March the Daily Caller examined Jackson-Lee's management skills, and it wasn't pretty." The report said  the Texas progressive may be the most demanding insensitive boss on Capitol Hill, a building  known for nasty bosses.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas also hands out nicknames to the people who work for her. The Houston Democrat addressed one of her employees as “you stupid motherfucker.” And not just once, but “constantly,” recalls the staffer, “like, all the time.”

Another Jackson Lee aide recounts the time her parents came to Washington to visit: “They were really excited to come to the congressional office. They’re small town people, so for them it was a huge deal. They were actually sitting in the main lobby waiting area….[Jackson Lee] came out screaming at me over a scheduling change. Called me a ’stupid idiot. Don’t be a moron, you foolish girl’ and actually did this in front of my parents, of all things.”

Today the Washington Times is reporting that the IQ-challenged lawmaker was particularly cruel to one of her disabled employees.

.....a former top aide to the Texas Democrat, said the lawmaker's public support for the disabled was nowhere to be found in her own congressional office when it came to the aide's vision impairment. Mona Floyd, who served as the congresswoman's legislative director, has monocular vision. She said she was told by Mrs. Jackson Lee in a private conversation within weeks of the hearing, "I don't care anything about your disability."

Another time, when Ms. Floyd, a lawyer, brought up her disability, she said another staffer told her the congresswoman had said, "I don't give a damn about her disability."

The accusations were outlined in a sharply-worded lawsuit filed recently in federal court in Washington, which seeks unspecified pay and compensatory and punitive damages. According to the complaint, Ms. Floyd, who did not return phone messages this week for comment, received reasonable accommodations for her vision disability when she went to work for the congresswoman in August 2007. But Ms. Floyd said in the court papers, the congresswoman became dismissive when she returned in February 2010 to become Mrs. Jackson Lee's legislative director.

....According to the court papers, Ms. Floyd started working in the office as a fellow through the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, which told Mrs. Jackson Lee's office that Ms. Floyd was vision impaired and needed special computer software and accommodations. When the software didn't work, Ms. Floyd instead was given rest breaks and extra time to finish tasks, the lawsuit said.

Under those circumstances, Ms. Floyd said she did well and was hired on permanently as the congresswoman's director of health policy and senior legislative assistant, the suit said. In that role, Ms. Floyd said, she personally told the congresswoman about her vision problems and helped draft legislation addressing deficiencies in the educational system for people with vision disabilities.

Ms Floyd left Jackson-Lee's office in December 2007 and returned in early 2010.

Despite assurances the office again would make accommodations for her disability, Ms. Floyd said that never happened and she found herself working from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. without any rest breaks, which she called "physically impossible" given her vision problems.

In the lawsuit, Ms. Floyd said that on April 26, 2010, Mrs. Jackson Lee gave her numerous reading-related assignments before adding that it shouldn't take 10 years to finish. She left the office in September.

"The representative regularly made these types of derogatory comments about the speed of Ms. Floyd's work, which the representative knew was a result of her vision impairment," the lawsuit said.

Here's the sick part, publicly Sheila Jackson Lee advocates for the disabled and used Ms. Floyd as an example.

In a hearing on the Americans With Disabilities Act, she noted there were 3 million people in Texas with disabilities and she was working on legislation to help visually impaired students at elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels.

"It addresses major concerns of visually impaired Americans that were brought to our attention through meetings with organizations representing those visually impaired," Mrs. Jackson Lee said.

She also complimented her staff and singled out Ms. Floyd.

A former boss of mine used to describe her philosophy on interpersonal relationships this way, "I can handle people who are nasty, and I can handle people who are stupid, but I just can't handle people who are stupid and nasty." Well, looking at the latest revelations about Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, my boss would have hated the progressive Representative from Texas. Sadly her constituency keeps on reelecting, this embarrassment to the Congress and indeed the entire country.

Peter King Bitch Slaps Sheila Jackson Lee At Today's Muslim Radicalization Hearing

With each passing day we learn more about Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. It as been long known that she is not the sharpest crayon in the playroom, her gaffes are legendary (only they aren't really gaffes she really believe this nonsense). There was the time she stood on the floor of the house  discussing how North and South Vietnam are living peacefully side by side, even though there hasn't been a North and South Vietnam since Gerald Ford was President, and another time when she told the House Judiciary Committee that the “penalty” which the health-care law imposes on individuals who do not buy health insurance is not in fact a penalty.

In March Daily Caller examined Jackson-Lee's management skills, and it wasn't pretty. Ms Lee might be the nastiest boss in the entire city of Washington, D.C.

During the first committee hearing about Muslim Radicalization in the US  Jackson-Lee threw a  hissy fit and was rebuked. A glutton for punishment, Ms Lee brought up an irrelevant point during today's hearing and got rebuked again.

During the hearing on Muslim radicalization hearing, Lee insisted on asking about Christian militants who were trying to undermine the government.   King replied by reminding the Congressional Nutjob:

I would just remind the members of the minority for four years they controlled this committee and they could have had hearings on any of these issues at any other time if they wanted to. I never heard any mention of any of these groups at these hearings until we held our first hearing on Muslim radicalization. I wish you would have been as attentive during the previous four years.
