New Report Suggests Warming is NOT Man-Made (And Things Were A Lot Hotter In Medieval Times)

So much for that climate change consensus nonsense. A new report co-produced by three non-profit research groups (Heartland Institute, Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change, and Science and Environmental Policy Project) casts doubt on on many of the claims of the Al Gore set (the full report is embedded below).

 The major claim in this new report is that most of the warming recorded is a result of natural rather than man made causes. The authors say:

 “We are not saying anthropogenic greenhouse gases (GHG) cannot produce some warming or have not in the past. Our conclusion is that the evidence shows they are not playing a substantial role.”

The report also shows that the famous "medieval period" was a lot warmer than it is today and both the planet and man survived.  The study also concludes that “the net effect of continued warming and rising carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere is most likely to be beneficial to humans, plants, and wildlife.

The other top-line conclusions are: 

• “We find evidence that the models over-estimate the amount of warming that occurred during the twentieth century and fail to incorporate chemical and biological processes that may be as important as the physical processes employed in the models.”

• “More CO2 promotes more plant growth both on land and throughout the surface waters of the world’s oceans, and this vast assemblage of plant life has the ability to affect Earth’s climate in several ways, almost all of them tending to counteract the heating effects of CO2’s thermal radiative forcing.”

• “The latest research on paleoclimatology and recent temperatures [finds] new evidence that the Medieval Warm Period of approximately 1,000 years ago, when there was about 28 percent less CO2 in the atmosphere than there is currently, was both global and warmer than today’s world.”

• “New research finds less melting of ice in the Arctic, Antarctic, and on mountaintops than previously feared, no sign of acceleration of sea-level rise in recent decades, no trend over the past 50 years in changes to the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation (MOC), and no changes in precipitation patterns or river flows that could be attributed to rising CO2 levels.”

• “Amphibians, birds, butterflies, other insects, lizards, mammals, and even worms benefit from global warming and its myriad ecological effects.”

• “Rising temperatures and atmospheric CO2 concentrations, by increasing crop yields, will play a major role in averting hunger and ecological destruction in the future.”

• “The latest research suggests corals and other forms of aquatic life have effective adaptive responses to climate change enabling them to flourish despite or even because of climate change.”

• “Global warming is more likely to improve rather than harm human health because rising temperatures lead to a greater reduction in winter deaths than the increase they cause in summer deaths.”

• “Even in worst-case scenarios, mankind will be much better off in the year 2100 than it is today, and therefore able to adapt to whatever challenges climate change presents.”

In the end, the report concludes that the climate change nonsense is overblown, not only in regards to the role of man kind but also the effect it will have on the earth and life on the earth.  Sorry Al!

New Peer-reviewed Study "Looks Out the Window" to Prove Global Warming is Hoax

One of the problems with the Global Warming Hoax is that the climate scientists are too reliant on computer models. They will work for years coming up with proprietary computer models containing all their prejudices, input thousands of numbers and come up with a prediction such as it will rain today.  The problem is their heads are stuck up so far into their hard drives, the never bother to put their heads out the window to see if it is really raining.

A new peer reviewed report actually looks out the window, well actually it uses data coming from a satellite's window. Using NASA satellite data from 2000-2011) the study proves  CO2 is not trapping as much heat into the atmosphere as the global warming hoaxers' models predicted. As reported in Forbes:

The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.

Study co-author Dr. Roy Spencer, a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and U.S. Science Team Leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA’s Aqua satellite, reports that real-world data from NASA’s Terra satellite contradict multiple assumptions fed into alarmist computer models.

“The satellite observations suggest there is much more energy lost to space during and after warming than the climate models show,” Spencer said in a July 26 University of Alabama press release. “There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts that is especially big over the oceans.”

In addition to finding that far less heat is being trapped than alarmist computer models have predicted, the NASA satellite data show the atmosphere begins shedding heat into space long before United Nations computer models predicted.

The new findings are extremely important and should dramatically alter the global warming debate.

Scientists on all sides of the global warming debate are in general agreement about how much heat is being directly trapped by human emissions of carbon dioxide (the answer is “not much”). However, the single most important issue in the global warming debate is whether carbon dioxide emissions will indirectly trap far more heat by causing large increases in atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds. Alarmist computer models assume human carbon dioxide emissions indirectly cause substantial increases in atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds (each of which are very effective at trapping heat), but real-world data have long shown that carbon dioxide emissions are not causing as much atmospheric humidity and cirrus clouds as the alarmist computer models have predicted.

When the new data is combined with existing NOAA and NASA data the study reflects  that for 25 years and counting, carbon dioxide emissions have directly and indirectly trapped far less heat than alarmist computer models have predicted. 

The bottom line is that the basic premise of the global warming hoaxers is between all of the coal, cars, human exhalation etc, CO2 is collecting in the atmosphere and trapping a certain amount of heat preventing it from escaping into space and eventually heating to the planet up and causing us all do die by heat, drowning and skanky beer. But by simply looking out the window this new study proves that far less heat is being trapped in the earth’s atmosphere and it is escaping much faster meaning you will still be able to attempt to hike to the North Pole a decade from now and NY is not going to be buried under the ocean (well not because of global  warming anyway).

PROVEN! Congressman Gary Ackerman Has Proof That Global Warming is REAL!

Whew! That solves that. The debate is now over.  Congressman Gary Ackerman (D-NY) has proved that Global Warming is real! During a meeting of the House Foreign Affairs committee the Long Island liberal launched into a speech blasting the de-funding of the  global climate change initiative. Apparently the majority of the committee feel that man-made global warming is not real, citing the wealth of information such as the fact that temperatures have actually gone down in recent years, the fact that the famous hockey stick has been proven to be bogus, and the fact that during the medieval period, long before the industrial revolution temperatures were higher than they are today.

But that doesn't deter Ackerman, as you can see in the video below, he has proof that global warming is real, when he goes outside his glasses fog up, with the thousands of scientists working on the climate change issue why didn't they thing of that incredible test?

The latest recipient of the merit award for excellence in climate fear mongering is Chris Huhne, the British Climate Change Secretary. Today, Huhne is speaking before a group of national defense experts and telling them that climate change may cause an increased threat of wars, violence and military action against the UK, and risks reversing the progress of civilization. Wow that sounds like wrath of God-type stuff!

"Climate change is a threat multiplier. It will make unstable states more unstable, poor nations poorer, inequality more pronounced, and conflict more likely," Huhne is expected to say in a speech to defence experts. "And the areas of most geopolitical risk are also most at risk of climate change."

He will warn that climate change risks reversing the progress made in prosperity and democracy since the industrial revolution, arguing that the results of global warming could lead to a return to a "Hobbesian" world in which life is "nasty, brutish and short."

We don't really need climate change to shorten our lives, we have Obamacare.

The interesting part of that statement is if anything is "Hobbesian" it is the climate change hoaxer movement.' According to political philosopher Thomas Hobbes, society is a population beneath a sovereign authority, to whom all individuals in that society cede some rights for the sake of protection. Any abuses of power by this authority are to be accepted as the price of peace. There is no doctrine of separation of powers in Hobbes' discussion, nor is there any dissent of opinion. According to Hobbes, the ruler must control civil, military, judicial and religious powers.

The climate change hoaxers believe that they are like the sovereign, civil, military , judicial, religious and economic powers must submit to their man-made climate change agenda. 

Huhne believes the UK and other countries must act urgently to prepare for the threat. "We cannot be 100% sure that our enemies will attack our country, but we do not hesitate to prepare for the eventuality," he plans to say. "The same principle applies to climate change, which a report published by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has identified as one of the four critical issues that will affect everyone on the planet over the next 30 years."

His comparison of climate change and terrorism echoes Sir David King, the former chief scientific adviser to the government who warned in 2004 that global warning posed "a bigger threat than terrorism".

Well lets see---all the major global warming predictions, no more ice caps, New York buried under a wall of water, the elimination of Cookies and Cream Ice Cream etc., have been proven false.  Sadly the Islamist terrorist movement that is blowing up civilians throughout the world is proven true every day.  Sorry Dave, your comparison shows you to be a pawn instead of a King.

Huhne has scored key victories in recent months in his attempts to put climate change at the centre of coalition policy. He helped to persuade Cameron to accept the "fourth carbon budget" - a plan that would see the UK halve emissions by 2025, the stiffest target of any developed country. Yesterday the prime minister announced tough new energy efficiency standards, supported by Huhne, that would require central government to cut emissions by 25% in the five-year term of this parliament.

The lull in global warming from 1998 to 2008 was mainly caused by a sharp rise in China's coal use, a study suggests.

The absence of a temperature rise over that decade is often used by "climate sceptics" as grounds for denying the existence of man-made global warming.

But the new study, in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, concludes that smog from the extra coal acted to mask greenhouse warming.

China's coal use doubled 2002-2007, according to US government figures.

Although burning the coal produced more warming carbon dioxide, it also put more tiny sulphate aerosol particles into the atmosphere which cool the planet by reflecting solar energy back into space.

The Lead researcher Robert Kaufmann from Boston University, says it was Fox News who pushed him to come up with this unique solution:

"Two years ago, I gave a talk to a general audience in New Jersey about climate change," he told BBC News.

"And an older gentleman asked me 'why should I believe in this climate change - I was watching Fox News and they said the Earth's temperature hasn't changed in 10 years and has actually gone down'.

"At that stage I wasn't paying much attention to climate change - I'd returned to working on oil markets - so I went back and checked the data and found that was just about right."Mainstream answers

Even before this paper there wasn't much scientific evidence for denying climate change, and now I don't see any credible scientific contradiction”

No contradiction? Allow me to restate their case.  The reason there is no global warming is the air pollution caused by coal which causes global warming.  Got it?  I didn't think so.



Truth is these climate change hoaxers must have a very low opinion of the world population.  If they really believe coal is slowing  down "global warming" then why aren't they calling for us to switch to an all coal economy?

What is really going on here is these hoaxers are really trying to point us toward a global re-distribution of income. The fact that holes keep popping up in their research causes them to come up with new and more desperate excuses for their theory's failings.  This Coal theory is a perfect example.

Thanks to claims reported by Climate Wire, we add to the list; extended severe allergy seasons, Lyme disease, malaria or dengue fever, trauma and depression, and high blood pressure and heart disease.

Dr. Anthony Szema is used to seeing patients with red eyes and runny noses. But in the past couple of years, the New York-based allergist has been faced with an onslaught of patients complaining their symptoms are starting earlier and hitting harder than ever before.

Szema believes climate change is a culprit in the extended severe allergy seasons. And he is one of a small number of physicians who are beginning to talk to their patients about it.

"I don't go on a soapbox making a scientific case, but by the time patients come to my office, they pretty much understand something is going on," he said. "They want to know why they are wheezing, why they have watery eyes and why their throats are swelling up. They understand the pollen season is worse this year."

"I give multiple etiologies," he said, referring to the causes of illness, "but climate change is one of them."

Now that the allergy doctor is also a climate change expert maybe he should also spend time with the many peer reviewed studies that show the fraudulent nature of man-made global warming (that's why they changed it to climate change, because their global wasn't warming).

Most individual doctors remain reluctant to speak out on climate-health links. But top medical associations leapt into the fray this past year as U.S. EPA's climate regulations became a target of GOP-led attacks in Congress.

Medical associations join the fight for regulations

The American Medical Association and American Lung Association, for example, were part of a coalition that coordinated a defense for reining in the emissions from smokestacks and tailpipes. Their argument: Protect human health.

Mmmm, I smell a fund-raising effort based on climate change.  Is that the same American Medical Association that supported Obamacare against the will of their membership?  Gee they are a believable source.

But Dr. Georges Benjamin, executive director of the American Public Health Association, said doctors still have a special responsibility to read up on these issues, verify the facts for themselves and help inform their communities and policymakers.

"Every physician has a role in prevention, and if we can help improve the environment, why shouldn't we?" he said. "If we saw a river was infected, we would tell our patients that they shouldn't drink the water from that river or bathe in that river, and I hope they would do work as good citizens to make sure whatever was polluting that river was taken care of."

Old and busted: global warming.  New hotness: coldness.  Reports from three different studies released yesterday point to the possibility of an extended period of solar inactivity not seen for three hundred years, and one that could bring a new mini-Ice Age:

According to three studies released in the United States on Tuesday, experts believe the familiar sunspot cycle may be shutting down and heading toward a pattern of inactivity unseen since the 17th century.

The signs include a missing jet stream, fading spots, and slower activity near the poles, said experts from the National Solar Observatory and Air Force Research Laboratory.

‘This is highly unusual and unexpected,’ said Frank Hill, associate director of the NSO’s Solar Synoptic Network.

‘But the fact that three completely different views of the Sun point in the same direction is a powerful indicator that the sunspot cycle may be going into hibernation.’

On the other hand claims of medical conditions caused by global warming give the government the opportunity to do what it does best, spend taxpayer money.

To help make communities more climate-ready, the Centers for Disease Control already has taken steps in the past year to help communities prepare for climate related-health threats. That agency is providing more than $5 million for 10 states and cities to begin to adapt to extreme heat and more vector-borne diseases and respiratory illnesses.

Outside extended allergy seasons and air pollution concerns, other health impacts linked with climate change are already readily apparent.

Scientists are already documenting how insects that infect people with malaria or dengue fever are surviving and thriving in higher altitudes than ever before -- expanding their range and moving northward in Africa and Latin America. Changing migration patterns are also enabling dengue-infected mosquitoes to circulate in Florida.

Its fun to watch Doctors pose as climate experts, but their patients should know that it will be a cold day in hell when this global warming is proven.  And based on the latest reports on sun spots and a mini-Ice Age...well lets just say hell might freeze over for other reasons.

The latest entry comes from  Dan Ferber and Dr. Paul Epstein, the authors of a new book, Changing Planet, Changing Health: How the Climate Crisis Threatens Our Health and What We Can Do about It.  Ferber is a reporter, and the good Doctor is Associate Director of the Center for Health and the Global Environment at Harvard Medical School (wow, MD and Harvard Medical School, his mother must be so proud).

Some would say that the two authors simply chose something new to alarm the public about.  However, what they really have done is the proverbial "kill two birds with one stone," found a solution to both global warming and Middle East violence at the same time.

The book warns that climate change has led to the spread of infectious diseases and respiratory ailments across the globe and contributed to thousands of deaths through heat waves and other extreme weather events. It's even fueled recent revolts in the Middle East and North Africa.

I assume that Ferber and Epstein are urging President Obama to lay off Qadaffi of Libya and Assad of Syria. After all, its not their fault. People aren't revolting because of their tyrannical rule. No, they are revolting because a combination of automobiles, the burning of coal, human exhalation, and cow farts have messed up the atmosphere.

Holy Cow! These guys have solved all of our Middle East problems. I bet Obama's upcoming Middle East speech will discuss this exact issue (although due to his high position I assume he will say flatulence instead of farts).

An unstable climate, Epstein explained, is directly linked to social and political unrest. "I think we're looking at increasing damages and social disruption from the climate instability and extremes," he said. "The earth itself can go to a new equilibrium, but we need to back off. We're pushing it hard."

Allow me to suggest in order to solve the global warming issue, the United States should direct its spy satellites to search for those people who are pushing the Earth hard. Maybe Van Jones will help, after all he is leading the UN effort to have the Earth given the same rights as a Human. I am sure he would agree that no person or planet should be subjected to hard pushing or any other kind of bullying. Its no wonder the Earth is getting warmer, its holding in the anger.

Epstein said that humans need to dramatically decrease fossil fuel and wood burning "in order to give the climate a chance to re-stabilize at a level that would be viable" for environmental and human health.

"People across this country are realizing that we have a real problem on our hands," Ferber said. "I am actually optimistic that more and more people are starting to deal with that reality and say, 'what solutions can we come up with to deal with this problem?'"

Dan Ferber and Dr. Paul Epstein, have done the world a great service, not only have they taught us how to solve global warming, but at the same time, how to achieve peace in the Middle East.
