Capital Reopening in Mayfair!!

Today Club Capital had a reopening to celebrate it's new look!  DJ Morphman and Host Tamil were on hand to keep the crowd going and dancing to some of the best Euro dance and house tunes in Second Life!  You can party at Club Capital each day, from 10am to 12pm slt! Queensryche Tribute Band Rocks Mayfair!!

Today London guests and residents were treated to a special event:  a Queensryche Tribute Band Concert!  Mayhem DJ Anakin with Host Angy, kicked off events today, keeping guests dancing to 90 minutes worth of rock music, followed by the Queensryche Tribute Band!  Check out photos below of this event:

-Join us for a FREE Queensyrche Tribute Band Concert!  Events start at 10am slt with a special 90 minute pre kick off concert event by Mayhem Rock Club, featuring DJ Anakin and Host Angy and a 2000L loaded contest board!  Stick around for the big event:  Queensyrche, who will hit the stage in Mayfair at 1145 am slt!

Coach & Horses Beach Party Weekend Recap!

Thanks to Coach & Horse's Manager, Mia Deluca for the great recap below:

The Coach and Horses Pub's Beach Party was a week long event outside the pub in a plot not far from the Pub.

Regulars and newcomers enjoyed a week long party outside with ice cream, campfire, tiki torches and more. Live DJs daily along with contests help make for a great party.

Thursday DJ Pyp was on the decks spinning great music as always. There was a Best in Shorts contest and everyone danced and had a great time.

Going into the weekend we had DJ Devoman both Friday and Saturday. On Fridays Devoman does a late night UK event from 3-5p slt and it is always a Come as You Are Contest. Then Devoman returns for regular Pub hours of 1:30-3:30p slt on Saturdays. This week to end the week long beach party, it was Best in Swimwear Contest.

Looks like someone even came in an old style bathing suit. And one Pub regular, Alex, seemed to be in his silks, which isnt exactly swimswear but hey, it showed off his legs (and just about everything else allowed).

Coach & Horses at the Beach-Days 3 and 4 Recap!

The Coach and Horses continued their week long Beach Party outside on the Mayfair sim near the pub on Tues and Thursday. It continues thru rest of the week (thru Aug 6th).

Tuesday, Manager/DJ Mia Deluca did trivia outside on the beach. She had some summertime trivia along with nature and a few misc trivia questions. DJ Mia spun a selection of 80s and 90s tunes, which is normal for Tuesdays at Coach and Horses Pub.

The trivia fans enjoyed the trivia and many of the trivia regulars made an appearance. They even had a cute kitty cat who was able to do more than purr or meow too as she won a few questions.

Trivia night also had a raffle for a stay on the SS Galaxy. C&H Pub occassionally has a raffle, usually on a trivia night. So join the Coach and Horses Pub group (IM Manager Mia Deluca for invite) so you know when and what all events are.

On Thursday, DJ Mia took over the stream yet again and spun a variety of genres with music being mostly from this year. Some tunes were so new that some regulars hadnt even heard them yet.

There was a best in beachwear contest up and Host Cath and DJ Mia tried their hardest to get the men into shorts to show off their legs instead of just bare-chested.

Everyone had a blast. Some even curled up by the fire or roasted marshmellows.

Dont miss out on the fun at C&H. They are open daily 1:30-3:30p slt (except Fridays where it is late nite event 3-5p and they are closed on Sundays).

All are welcome and the group always has a great time dancing, mingling and making new friends.

Coach and Horses at the Beach!!

Coach and Horses Pub is having a week long beach party in Mayfair, just outside of the Pub and down the boardwalk a few steps to the beach area.

Today marked the 1st event for the week.

We had DJ Steph on the decks spinning all kinds of great tunes, rock, pop, dance and even a few slow/lovey tunes. She also took requests.

Contest was best in swimwear/swimsuits and it started with 300L on the board and about half way thru Manager Mia Deluca bumped it to 500L as people started flocking in for the fun.

There is a campfire and if you click the marshmellow on a stick you will get one that you can wear and roast marshmellows. Or curl up by the fire and chat. Also was an ice cream vendor you can select from a variety of great ice creams. So even if no DJ there, feel free to hang out and have fun on the beach.

There will be an event on the beach area every day this week (Aug 1st-6th). 1:30-3:30p slt (except Fridays which are 3-5p slt). So be sure to stop in and join in the fun.

Coach and Horses at the Beach!

This week, as part of our Last Days of Summer Festival, Coach and Horses have set up a special beach area in Mayfair!  All events will be held at this special beach.  If you have already had your summer beach adventure, then tp into the Coach and Horses, to relieve it all again and to soak up some of that Linden Sun!  Below are photos from the beach area and catch Coach and Horses each day from 130pm to 330pm slt!

Early Morning Visit To The Park

It was a bright morning so I decided to go for a stroll in the park. As with all mornings, the day was bright and I was optimistic. This day was made even brighter when I met Alex and Cariashi in the Hub. Friendly as always, it was a sheer delight to chat with them before breakfast.
